Camp Director 

Gerald “Jerry” Hare: Director of Hare Goalkeeper Academy and Assistant Soccer Coach / Goalkeeper Coach for DIII Westminster College (PA) Men’s & Women’s Soccer teams. Coach Hare has been coaching for twenty-seven years with specialty in goalkeeping. His coaching stops have included Hampton High School Boys’ Varsity Soccer (goalkeeper coach), Hampton Soccer Club (Head Coach for U-14 Girls), North Catholic High School Girls’ Varsity Soccer (Head Coach) and Woodland Hills High School Boys’ Soccer (Assistant Varsity Soccer and Head JV Coach). For the past nineteen years, he has been a Varsity Assistant Soccer Coach and Goalkeeper Coach at Shady Side Academy for the boys’ & girls’ varsity soccer teams, as well as Assistant Coach for 7th & 8th Grade Coed Soccer team. Currently, he continues to work in the same position for the Varsity Boys’ & Girls’ Soccer teams as well as Assistant Coach for 7th & 8th Grade Coed Soccer team. Post-season experience has included:

His playing experience has included Hampton High School (1982-1983), Community College of Allegheny County Center North Indoor Soccer Club (1983-1984), Southern Illinois University Soccer Club (1984-1987) and adult soccer leagues for eight years. Hare holds NSCAA National Goalkeeper Diploma, NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and NSCAA High School Coaches Diploma. Coach Hare is a certified CPR Trainer and Sport Safety Trainer (American Red Cross).




Josh Green: Women’s Assistant Soccer Coach at Division 1 Youngstown State University primarily working with the goalkeepers. Prior to his arrival at Youngstown State, he served on numerous  Division I assistant and goalkeeper coaching positions across the country included University of South Dakota, East Carolina University (2010), Xavier University (2009-2010), Loyola Marymont University (2008-2009), and Minnesota State University 2006-2008), University of Iowa (2004-2006) and Pepperdine University (1995-2003). His playing experience included Los Angeles Football Club, a semi-pro team (1997-2000), LA Galaxy MLS (1996), San Fernando Valley Golden Eagles with U.S.I.S.L and Division III California Lutheran University (1992-1994). Green holds NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF National “C” License.



Daniel Selitti: Men’s Assistant Soccer Coach / Goalkeeper Coach for DII University of Mount Olive (NC). Prior to Mount Olive, he spent two years at DII Concord University (WV) as a Graduate Assistant working as the Assistant Soccer Coach and Goalkeeper Coach. He also held several club coaching positions for the past two years including the Director of Goalkeeping and Head Soccer Coach U13 & U14 Boys teams for WV Legacy FC, West Virginia ODP GK Coach and Assistant Soccer Coach for West Virginia Chaos (Professional Development League). His playing experience included NJCAA Yavapi College in Arizona (2011-2012), Division I Marshall University (WV) (2013-2014) and the Las Vegas Mobsters (Professional Development League) in 2014. Selitti holds a USSF D License.


Kerry Edwards Master.jpgKerry Edwards: Women’s Goalkeeper Coach for the Division I Northern Alabama University. Prior to her new position, she spent the past year as Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach at DII Southern Alabama University. The year prior, she was a Graduate Assistant Coach at Northern Alabama University. She was a highly decorated goalkeeper at DII Dallas Baptist University (2011-2014), where she led her team to three NCAA Tournament appearances including Sweet 16 appearance in 2011. Her collegiate soccer career finished as second in the Division II record books with 51 career shutouts, and third with over 8,018 minutes in goal. Edwards holds NSCAA National Diploma and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 3 Diploma.


*Members of the Westminster College Goalkeeping Unit, several college graduates and former members of the Hare Goalkeeper Academy will be our camp assistants.





Girish Thakar: Men’s & Women’s Head Soccer Coach at DIII Westminster College (PA) concurrently since 2002 and the men’s team since 1998, Winner of nine-time Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Soccer Champions, four with the men’s and five with the women’s. He led his teams to NCAA Tournament nine times. Thakar was named PAC Coach of the Year five times.  Prior to coaching at Westminster, he was the head men’s coach at his alma mater, Slippery Rock University, from 1993-96, after graduating from SRU in 1991 and later earning a master’s degree from the school. As a player at Slippery Rock, he was a four-year starter who earned All-PSAC honors. Thakar holds NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and FA Coaching Badge.  BIO
